Based on the initial section I thought you were going to take this beat a very different way. That said I do like it, but I didn't expect you to go so spacey (ie. outer-space kinda feel, very ambient style)
Also, over 45 seconds as an intro before a backbone beat kicks in Hip-Hop is moving towards the long side.
I do see that this post is 9 months and change old, which is noted, but I wanted to let you know what I thought.
It is a nice beat, I bet you've come a long way since October last year if you've kept it up.
Hope you did! PM me something new if you have something on the go.
Thank you for sharing! I always stray towards making my beats have the ambient feel to it. This is also my one of the very few Hip-Hop songs I ever wrote. I'm really trying to gain some experience in it, to see how I do with it! Your comment will deffinately help though so thank you! I haven't been making hip-hop songs lately, but I've been working with video game tracks, for a few friends.
It's like if 40 *drakes producer) teamed up with Eminem and they met up with a glitch producer haha, I like that it uses very different things. The bounce and styling of the progression set up a real bleak feeling, this is not just like sad from a break up the music screams some kind of issue. It's interesting to hear the chaotic nature of the trap/glitch drums with that. I really like the pads though. Layer those drums and you're in business. Its a fresh sound, this is more glitch hop with the number of bars that you break up the flow with. Good Work.
Thank you so much for the review! It's my second attempt at hip hop in a couple years. I studied a some rap beats, they seemed to lack a little.so I wanted to step it up a little!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
