Easy Listening - Classical

Author Comments

This was a tune I composed within the day.

This time everything is being played by finale 2014 (I sequenced everything myself), and this is the very first of my compositions to have sheet music! (It is written for 2 violin sections, single viola, cello section, and single bass)

Enjoy! this will also be part of my uploading for the Holloween Spooktacular!

Please ask before including this piece in anything thing you might use it for, thank you!

This really follows the idea of Easy Listening (though I'd argue on the 'horror/tragic' tag, moreso on the former due to subjectivity of thought :P).
The speed, tempo, rhythm, and combination of instruments paints a very nice picture for the listener--and the music by itself is fluid in nature; it is both simple and carries an idea of melody and linearity (probably of events) in how it was composed. With only listening to the music by itself, it works as a very simple composure, and a very aesthetic pleasure to the ears.

Suggestion: Keep at it :D If you can do this within a day, given the composition of the arrangement of instruments and their use, then the potential is obvious.

MetroPiano responds:

Thanks for your review, probably one of the more "formal" reviews I have ever received (not complaining, actually, I prefer it to a "This sounds like music, 5/5", though that's a bit of a over-exaggeration) anyways I pretty much composed this in 2 hours, explaining the simplicity, and I'm hoping to start composing more elaborate pieces later in the coming months. Thanks again for the review! Always nice to read and respond to people who take the time to write them.
