Okay, there's a little bit to say about this one. I've been meaning to work on more "battle" and "boss" music for a long time now, but I haven't quite gotten around to it. I've also really needed to get some practice writing for the guitar, because it's something I'm not quite used to. I think I did decently on the solos and melodies here. Nothing spectacular, but I tried to go for function and simplicity (AKA repeating the same line 10 times). It was a fun first chance to use Shreddage 2. That stuff's addictive!

This piece in particular actually came from one misplaced "riff" in another song I was working on. It didn't quite work for that piece, but I wanted to continue fleshing it out. There's still a lot of stuff I could do with it, as well as a lot of mixing and general polish that is missing from the recipe. However, I've got other things going on right now (and I'm lazy), so I decided not to overwork this thing. That tends to ruin an idea 90% of the time anyways.

I had some good fun making this. There's a lot of stuff I was thinking of adding, but I really need to slap some more content on my page for 2014! Hopefully this won't be it for the year... .-.
