I'll be honest, it's been a while since I last came on ol' Newgrounds, but when I checked your songs, I simply smiled seeing new songs! This was beautiful, much like the, "Tale of a Freeman". [Still an excellent job to this day, downloaded, and listen to it when I need to clear my head.] I'll admit it's got a very weak start within the first five seconds, but my lord it reels you instantly with a hook of beauty. It gives me a chill of deep love to hear your beautiful works of art called music. To give it anything less than a full perfection would be sacrilege to music as an exuberant whole!
To start off why I favor this instantly, it starts off weak within the start [minor complaint] giving you the benefit of doubt.. Which then stops quickly, giving a powerful smash of well planned music, and great power rising slowly, and giving you the raising rhythm around thirty-five, to forty seconds in you begin to hear the raising insanity of power surging through you, total ecstasy. The insanity raises even higher, and higher until it finishes off going into a gentle wave of bliss, leaving the user to wonder, "What the hell did I just listen to, and what crack was the maker on when they made this beautiful chord of blissful addicting music?"
I will admit there are a few small complaints, the start up is fairly weak, but soon translates into a massive bonus! It gives you the benefit of doubt as I stated earlier, then pounds you with beauty.
The maker's beautiful orchestra was given an odd tech sound compilation but it works in later on. It must take such skill to make this beauty of a simple, yet exhilarating song.
Finally, I give this a full 10/10. Not just because I love the beautiful raises of power, but because I never know what to expect from the maker's technique except beauty, and an excellent story told by the rhythm of music, with the pace increasing to such insanity thought unreachable by music.
I expect only the best from you.
i feel dont give up in our your song.
You know, it's always hard for me to leave productive reviews for your tracks, as they are always so dumn good! XD
You definitely know exactly how to use strings and percussion. There's a lot worth liking in this piece. Your chord progressions and melodies are pretty intriguing in this track. The name you chose for this song fits really well too :D
As usually, I don't really have anything to complain about. I guess that since the ending fades out, the loop is not perfect, although it still kinda is; the beginning starts anew in the end before fading out, so I guess it was just kind of a personal preference thing to still have it fade out instead of making this into a clean loop :p
As always, great job!
Thanks man for the awesome review! :)
How do you make such energetic percussion? I love it!
I try different drum arrangements then mix them together until I find something good. There is no magic in percussion arrangements :P.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
