Holy shit, I made this track back in 2008. I wasn't even aware that I made decent music that long ago. I removed this track ages ago when I decided to put out an EP through Amazon and iTunes as a sort of experiment. This is still one of my personal favorites. I wish my music was still this cool but unfortunately I got really shitty over the years.

OKAY so I've been listening to Calyx's "No Turning Back" album all week and the title of this caught my eye straight up. This isn't really like that so I was honestly a weeee bit disappointed, heh.

Since this is really oooold I don't know how much criticism will actually help you out here. There's elements of a bunch of different IDM/Braindance styles floating around and they all come together really nice. After the sustained notes (channeling bogdan raczynski? :O) drop out I would've gone with a much more soft and simple-ish beat, but the way it builds up in the following measures is gooood .

Was not expecting the virtuosic piano! Very nice touch. The mainstream wimp in me wanted the scratchy noises that come in to go away but the beret-wearing avant-garde enthusiast loved it.

Despite differing styles, it seems we were thinking on quite similar wavelengths around this time period. Cool stuff!
