"Typhoon" - Dramatic

I wrote this piece of music initially (back in November 2013) to express sympathy towards the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

I finally decided to submit it to NG because recently I've been drowning in emotional turmoil as I go through my so called midlife crisis. It has made me feel weak for months and confused about my life to say the least. I have been crumbling slowly and no one really knew it but me. Today, someone motivated me to pick myself back up and start reconstructing the broken pieces of my world by simply sending me a spontaneous message. You know who you are. So from here on out, I am going to attempt ascending myself into a different light so as to move forward in life with greater enthusiasm than I have ever felt before. So with that said, here is the very thought I'd like to leave...

"The typhoon has come and gone leaving me with shattered dreams but with a shred of hope left I will do what I can to pull through and reconstruct my world."

Thank you for reading,

P.S. You may use this piece in your project as you see fit. Please give credit if you decide to use it. Thanks! Enjoy!

I hope life is going better for you now. Awesome track! :)

Excellent track. The string dynamics are great. The plucked guitar sounds too loud to me, with perhaps too much bass.

I am 26 years old and I have "midlife crises" all the time. "Who am I? What is my purpose? Can I even do this?" It is difficult. Sometimes it is a source for depression, but sometimes it is actually a good source of inspiration.

Thank you for being able to relate. There are times in our lives where we all need some sort of inspiration to carry on in life. I really enjoy reading your reviews as they consist of useful and encouraging thoughts. Your kindness and support is very meaningful to me.

Very beautiful and thank you for offering your work for others to use.

It is my pleasure and a true honor.

This is insanely beautiful. I love the glissando of the strings in the main parts. Reminds me a little of the House of Flying Daggers soundtrack! Thank you for uploading :)

I guess because of its "oriental" feel, I can see how it reminds you of the House of Flying Daggers. :) Thanks for the review!
