This is my first song vocal/lyrical song. Many thanks to oOzeroOo for lending me her great vocals. The instruments are a Harp, Piccolo and Tambourine all from EWQL Gold. All editing was done with Audacity. I hope you enjoy, more to come!

He comes from a land now unknown,
Earth shattered, burnt and blown

Sword, Shield, from the sons of his lands,
Both held in battle-worn hands,

He Comes with no fear in his heart,
A mind now torn apart,

The shadows of his past,
A pain he can not cast,

How long must this new reign last.

Hey! This is pretty neat :D
I love the medieval theme to it :3
Your singing is awesome too, oOzeroOo!

wish it was longer!! The harp is very soothing and for some reason this makes me think of greensleeves :P

you would've got 5 stars if it was longer ^^,

WingoWinston responds:

I'll be releasing a longer one soon. For now my focus is on the NGADM (If I make it in the top 64). It might follow the same progression, key, or range as Greensleeves. That's a good reaction though because then you definitely felt a medieval vibe from the song; exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the review!

Wow, I love this! The medieval theme is really cool, and the lyrics and vocals are really good as well! :D It definitely has an interesting structure...climactic and emotional, yet the firmly plucked strings make it seem almost mechanical at the same time. It really tells a story - both with the words and the music. Nice work, both of you two! ;)

WingoWinston responds:

I struggled with the harp for a bit, but I got it somewhere I liked. I realize now I forgot to add human playback, but I still am quite pleased with the end result. The reaction you got is exactly what I was hoping for people to receive. Thanks for the review!

Beautiful. Sounds very Joanna Newsom. Love it.

WingoWinston responds:

I'll have to look her up, thanks for the kind words!

Lovin it! Sounds like it belongs in one of the elder scrolls games.

WingoWinston responds:

That's kind of what I was aiming for and what I've been told by my flatmates. I would love to write music for a game like dragon age or elder scrolls and being compared to one is great. Thanks for the review!
