Yeah, newgrounds updates suck. Here is the file with evened out vocals. Enjoy this slipknot cover. I may finish the second half. I may not.

This used to be one of my favorite songs. I thought everything was great besides the, "I pushed my fingers into my eyes" vocals just didn't sound right. I'm not talking about how they sounded compared to the original because I understand a cover is obviously going to be different, I just mean they didn't quite sound good. Everything else was great though, the screaming was awesome, much better than the original in my opinion. Why did the song cut short? You were just about to get to the good part?!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Cheers mang! This was a satisfactory attempt at best. I was just testing the waters as my band was thinking of possibly covering this for live shows. I just mostly wanted to see if I had the chops to pull it off :) I didn't do the rest, because I didn't really want to learn it all. Kinda a tester.

Cheers for the listen and review, glad you dug it overall!

At the beginning i liked the fact that the singer is trying. but trying to hard.but i do love the scream at 00:29----00:31. and i love that the guitar has that higher pitch to the song wich make the song sound more bad ass than the original. one thing you should add is the cord binding pull off at the end of your beat on your guitar riff. i'm a big fan of slipknot and this song is one of my favorite songs. i like the little changes you did. you are doing a good gob.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Great man, coming from a fan of slipknot, that means a great deal. I didn't pull off the bend, just to keep it different, but I know what you mean. Thanks for the feedback, brother!

At parts I thought I was listening to the actual song.. Nobody can sound like Corey, but you are close! \m/

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks mang. I had no real desire to sound like them. I wanted to do a cover and make it my own:) Cheers for the review and listen, mang.\m/

well damn, looks like i'm late to the party. good thing the party never ends, when i'm around. hah! never really listened to slipknot, not really my thing, but looked this song up. now, while i might be slightly biased, you beat the original to a bloody pulp! your vocals are fucking killer!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks mango. Slipknot was NEVER my thing either. The band was shooting around the idea of doing a slipknot cover, cause most of the people that follow our style of music, would know it. I just tried it on for size. Thanks for your support, brother.

Well, I for one think this crushes the original by miles, the old school thrash metal influence you have in your vocals made a Slipknot track I never listen to into a tune I actually enjoyed quite a bit, I am not a fan of Slipknot as you may have figured from that, but this is well done brother! METAL ON! \m/

Dood that is badass of you to say! Appreciate it a lot! Our band is going to be using this song as a filler cover, so thought I'd try it on for size. Cheers for the badass words, brother!
