Insidious Innocence (Celeste)

Author Comments

An insidious little development from an innocent premise. Celeste VST instrument solo. No percussion.

Composed with the idea of a simple, ordinary day secretly laden with dastardly deeds going on under the surface. I chose the celeste tones for a child-like sort of motif throughout because I initially imagined a child plotting murder as everyone else went about their business. Dark, I know.

Reviews

Very subtly and effectively sinister. It definitely accomplishes the dastardly vibe you were going for; I like how sparse and spacious the mix is.

Oh Jesus Christ this is old -- made in like, Mixcraft 5 or something. Glad you liked though

Fantastic track! I love the syncopation and polyrythms you got going on. Not hard to tell you're a music major :p

Never got around to responding to this, but thanks! I wrote it out, trying to paint a picture with sound. Glad that sound also happened to please other people. :)
