Oooh... The transitions from guitar to ambience and back to guitar again were smooth. A calming, peaceful feel to this I'm assuming. Glad to know your music is being used in film scores, since I've heard some very cinematic instrumentals of yours.
This is a track from a recent score I did for a film called Burning Fields. The premise of the movie was a young man from a rough background gets out of prison and tries to fulfill a promise he made to his grandmother who raised him. This track is the final cue from the film and the second half of it is sort of a recap of the first two cues in the movie playing together and the themes intermingling as the family is brought back together and the young man's promise is fulfilled.
I'm not really sure what to call the genre, I wish there was just an ambient genre without the electronic tag.
If you're interested you can hear the rest of the soundtrack here: https://soundcloud.com/kyler-may/sets/burning-fields-soundtrack
