Replace the flute(the beginning of the track) with windbag or celtic horn. It may sounds better I assume since the track arrangement is similar to an ethnic genre.

Ooh, I never thought about that! I think a celtic sounding horn would be a nice touch. Thank you for the suggestion! :)

Hiya. Compositionally this is handy enough - a variety of instruments, some well-structured arrangements. A couple of things you could've done include perhaps using a more prominent cello to double the double bass. In the first minute the double bass didn't have enough crunch. I also feel that the bass would've had more impact if it had been brought in a little bit later.Thankfully 2 minutes or so in the track changes tact and lets up on the bass.

I do feel like this track is a little bit lifeless. It needs a bit of oomph. The mix felt a bit muddled to me and it all seemed a little hollow. The ending for example was a good concept, that needed a bit more filling out. For that big brassy ending, you really want some trombones to flesh out that section, maybe some tubas to hammer home the bass notes. It was also hard to pick out what line I was meant to be following, so some clarity would be useful.

Good luck with your future work.

Thank you very much for the insight and suggestions :D I see what you mean about the song lacking some oomph and how it needed more fleshing out. I'll definitely pay closer attention in the future to these things. I appreciate your time greatly and thank you.
