Overall, yes, this song had some things in it that I really liked, but unfortunately it also had a handful of things in it that I really didn't like. For example, there were a lot of buildups that didn't lead up to anything, which was kind of disappointing to me. Also, there were a few too many repetitive parts. The thing that goes from 0:43 to 1:09 sticks out to me, but the melody in general seemed somewhat redundant after a while. The one thing that I must say I really do like, though, is when the back beat changes at 1:44 and at 3:40. In fact, those little change-ups, are probably the only things making me like this song haha. You should do more with that.

Yeah you are totally right about the repetitive nature. It's a nasty habit I need to get out of. I always think "should I do more? Add more variation?" but then I worry that I'll ruin it and over complicate, so I play it safe, but I shouldn't because that makes it boring. This is exactly what I need to hear so thanks for taking the time to tell me, glad you liked parts of it though :)

In the other review you said you liked heavier drops so try out Sky Machine (another track from the album), might be more your cup of tea. Has more variation than this. https://soundcloud.com/x-sentinel/sky-machine
