This is the ARMA 3: Resist's mission 2 demo track. I'm going to change my style a bit, switching from full electronic to more organic sounds. More dynamic and memorable melodies.

More hard work. Better quality.

This is great Elitistinen! I'm glad you decided to change your style a bit because this is one of my favorites from you right now. I agree with SoundChris you should try adding some reverb especially on those horns, make them sound a bit more distant and wider. Don't be afraid of the reverbs man! :P
Reverb is your buddy, just don't overdo it or it might get muddy.

Cool piece - the percussion and hybrid effects work very well here. You were very successful in creating tension and the good old action style flair. What i think could have improved the whole thing even more is:
1) I Think the strings and brass are a little bit too dry for my taste - i think you should give them more reverb to create the feel of wideness - hard to describe for me but i think you know what i mean.

2) The second thing in my opinion would have been totally awesome: To insert a midpart where the whole thing starts in the 6th - a large epic choir and a progression over like 6th 4th - 3rd - 4th - 6th - 4th - 5th 2nd - back to the 1st :D

Overall great piece. Keep it up!

Well, changing your style might've been a good idea, because this is great. Part of this gives me a similar feel as the main theme. Might be because one of the melodies is similar to one of the melodies in the main theme XD

As usually, the electronic aspect is astounding. The strings in the background are a great addition. I am very bad with instruments, but are those trombones that are playing the main melodies here? Anyhow, I feel as though something is missing while they play, but I don't know what. Probably just my imagination. I just feel as though this lacks some power when they play, but they shouldn't drown the beat and electronic stuff either. Maybe you could boost the lower frequencies of the intrument a bit through EQ:ing?

Naah, probably not; don't take advice from me XD
The loop is smooth as always :3
This is awesome :)

KatMaestro responds:

:( Yeah, I feel that something is missing but still do not know which. Trombone, french horn, strings and clarinet. They were a horrible mix of instruments between Orchestra Essentials and Symphonic Orchestra. Glad I'm not the only one thought the brass/string is very fat.

Thank you for the review :)
