Man, it's been a while. There's been a lot going on for the past few years. I went back to school, got a degree in History, but I still had a craving for making music. I recently stumbled upon the Sonatina Sound Library whilst looking for a good new VST to play with, and Sonatina doesn't disappoint. I immediately began reworking my A Day In The Town orchestration (which was done with an older version of Finale Notepad) and this was the result. I did a few things different. I took out the "ending" because I wanted this song to loop better. I added more percussion, and made the song a little faster. It's a VERY noticeable difference, but I believe the song flows better now.
Anyway, the concept of the song hasn't at all changed. It's supposed to be video game music for a video game that doesn't really exist, but I created it for when the hero character is wandering around in a bustling, lively town. The usual town one happens to see in an RPG game.
