Another piece I made for the same academic game project as my previous upload.

The girl in charge of the project sent me a theme from some Japanese game as a reference, lots of strings, a tragic sound etc.. Neither did I consider it fitting to the project nor did I have the necessary libraries but well, this is what I came up with. Personally I rather dislike the piece, starting with the low quality of the solo strings (or at least how they sound the way I implemented them). Also the development and rhythm feels kinda random to me and there's too many aggressive high notes. I like this mysterious repetitive sound that provides the rhythm, though.

Oh yeah, it remained unused. And there's a nasty click in the beginning but I DON'T CARE. Well, actually I'm unable to recover the project file at the time. :/

I agree with your appreciation for that repetitive sound that provides the rhythm. I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it; but *sometimes* to me when you don't notice particular parts in a song, it means it's doing its job. ;) The only thing that bothered me was a really loud ringing frequency that occurred at the start and end of the song, I think it just needs to be turned down, it might just be me. I enjoyed this composition; nice and simple but subversive, and certainly evokes a feeling of a dark aimless time. Even though the instrument quality isn't super realistic, the songs *mood* really gives this realistic, gritty impression upon me.

Thank you very much. Yeah, maybe that chromatic sound is a bit too aggressive, especially when it's on its own. Should I stumble upon the project file I may reduce it (and fix that nasty click noise in the beginning while at it).
