Very fairy tale like. I like the Asian style. Is that a real flute? If not it's some realistic sounding sample pack. I like the legato.
For some reason, by looking at this awesome cherry blossom drawing I chose for this contest I couldn't stop thinking about what is happeing in Fukushima and how fast our planet is being sundered... so I said to myself: "I wish that at least, all of us knew what is really happening to our world, beyond diplomacy", that's why I called this piece "The Wishing Tree".
Lol, perhaps I'm just dreaming, but that's what music is about huh?
I used a Guzheng library instead of a Koto library cuz I dont have one u.u
Guzheng is a chinese Instrument and the Koto is from Japan, but I guess It'll do cuz they sound pretty much the same to me :P

Thanks man, it is indeed a real flute
Needless to say, this is really good. It reminded me of Princess Mononoke, already a masterpiece in its own right, you couldn't have brought any more justice to your artwork of choice.
I only wish the strings were just a little more airy and distant, perhaps with a bit more of reverb you could have really brought them to life. The part at around 1:40 feels a little cluttered due to the cellos overwhelming the mix a little and the guzheng doing its job as it should, but other than that, the overall mastering is quite professionally performed and every perceived "flaw" doesn't really detract from the experience.
Really great job

Happy accidents! :D
Beautiful! some parts reminded me of some of Nobuo Uematsu's work, like the bell instrument (not sure what it is) playing along with the piano and harp melody.
Very calm and nice to listen to.
Great work :)
Thanks dude!, the instrument is called "Celesta" doubled with a "Glockenspiel" one octave higher in order to give it a "sparkly" effect :)
Phenomenal work. Very delicate and well paced.
TY Luny (:
Yup, this is beautiful :'3
This piece fits the artpiece so well. Like Elitistinen said, I am amazed by all the music that has entered this competition. The japanese style that reminds me of Joe Hisaishi among others is great, especially since cherry blossoms are associated with Japan in the first place :)
The mixing is wonderfully pulled off too.
Good luck! :'D
Thanks dude, Hisaishi is one of my favorite artists :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
