Started off to weak.
I think the intro was a bit lacking, it might've lead some people to think the song wouldn't change, I was a bit disapointed, but when the guitar and other stuff went in, it was better, also, ending, 3.5/5

A project I just started. I don't know where to go, so I would appreciate some insight.

Yeah, this is probably my worst piece. I had never done DNB before, so I was trying something new. This was also my first original piece, so it was definetely crap.

Take this to a metal guitarist-shredder and collaborate. You have a real talent for rhythm. I think you're on to something with this.

Hey man, it's good, but you need to work on the 'drum' part of the drum'n'bass thing. The kick is way to crunchy. It's sound like a broken stereo. Clean that up. It also sounds a little cheesy. Keep it going though.

but needs to be WAY faster! I dunno just sounds a bit slow/dry to me. I like it so far though. More diversity too wouldn't hurt like highhats + something else. gl

Well, I've been working on this some since I released it, and I've decided to ditch the Guitar. I wasn't going anywhere good with it since I had started. I may bring it back later.
Right now I have some nice drum beats with some Highhats, Cymbals, and added a snare. I plan on adding something that isn't drums, but I'm not too good with improvision so it's getting pretty hard for me.
I may(should) speed it up considering right now it's only at a 150 BPM. I'll release another version soon when I get more done.
ADVICE
it's not heavy yet, this would be like, the intro going to the actual music. Add in a few more layers of instruments, drums and bass but of different quantity. Can't give you more advice than that cause I can't play nothing but a keyboard and Dance E-Jay.

I plan on adding more drums, a lot more bass, and some more instruments, but I don't know what kinds and how I should mix them. I've never tried anything like this before so I'm having some troubles. Thanks for the tips.
