Aw, I thought it was going to build up to something bigger than that, but the track was over before it had the chance. D: Maybe this is the style of trance...?
The motifs in this are catchy enough. At first listen, I felt they were too repetitive and should maybe be cut in half. The percussion also comes real late and I wanted to hear a lighter drum over top that after the first two repetitions.
I dig the piano bit though. The pause just before the drums was really good too.
Ok so, I do like the song, at least, it isn't garbage, I like it when I listen to it. But there are some things bothering me. First, the song seems to be a very long intro. I mean, I was so waiting for something to happen, and the only thing that appears is a loud rythm. Fine, alright, I mean, you've putted it in "trance" so I can't be anything else than a soft and travelling song. But even for Trance, a melody's missing. The whole thing sounds like a great background, but I think maybe make some change, this song need to evolve with time, and by evolve I don't mean that it has to just have more sounds added to the first one. What I'm trying to mean is : I don't feel like the song has an end. It feels like the intro is during forever, and then there's a 1 second ending, and it just stops. A song like that has to make the listener travelling. So it needs to make one get higher and higher with the song, and then calm down, to get back on one's feet. Your song need to be like a rollercoaster.
I hope you'll get my point. Apart from this, the fact that the song isn't complete to me. It does sound right. So.. Thank you ^^
Blast in the face of nostalga! It reminded me of that Kevin and Perry film (if your not from the UK u might not get the reference)
I like the chance of pace as well around the 2 minute mark.
only critique is the base towards the end hurts your ears if ur wearing headphones (could be a combination of my sucky headphones and sucky ears haha)
I liked it though GJ :D
Hello Jones, First of all im very well aware of Kevin and Perry as im from Ireland, and they are awesome :D so thank you very much for that. Im hoping its your headphones that are causing the ears to hurt ;) as it doesn't sound to bad to me, however its a bit "to hardcore" and i get that now, so thanks for the fantastic review my friend and best of luck in the future :)
When the piano started playing, I was really feeling this track! However, I feel like the later synth was more of a hardstyle synth. Still, solid sounding!
Hey Pwnage, Thanks for your feedback, i appreciate it, sorry it wasn't 100% to you're liking, but glad you liked some of it anyway ;)
