I finished this one at the studio a couple months ago. It is a mixture of rock and folk elements about a man with a gambling problem in Mexico

Pretty nice song. The electric guitar is a pretty sweet addition, I like the mood it sets and it really gives some added value to the song. The vocals are pretty good too, certainly above average. Sometimes I get the impression they're being pushed a bit too far, like they're going to crack or screech, but they still seem to hit those high notes perfectly fine. The guitars and the vocals sound just right together, and the entire song has this nice, polished sound.

I really like your style, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah the reason the vocals were so forced was because when I write music, I right the vocals last, and I wrote this song way too high for my own good (I'm a tenor 2) and this was in the tenor 1 to alto range :l. Plus I wanted it to have a little integrity towards the topic I was singing about, so the vocals were a single take rather than polishing them. It helps add to the rusty feel of the song.
