TH-J - Segway

So with this being my first upload, I figured I would upload what I would probably deem my best. This is a song I made about 4 months ago now or so and my first attempt at mastering, I wanted to make something progressive and laid back yet breaking into some moments involving more of an emotional piano (Without going over the top), I know this barely qualifies as 'Ambient house' but I figured seeing as I have spent a good year or so working on ambient music I would incorporate a couple atmospheric elements. I got the name 'Segway' from the musical term of 'Segwaying' meaning to smoothly transition between two parts.

I made it using Ableton Live 9 and a Korg MS-20 for the lead, for the pads a great deal of it came from Sylenth1 (which I also used for the chords) and the bass is by a nice freebie called RA-Moog which is a really nice emulation of the classic 'Model D'. The piano is just a standard Live 9 preset, I know there is WAAAAAYYYY to much high end in here and my choice of drum samples is a bit crud but I think I have really improved in those areas over the past couple months after this and really this track was just my first time screwing around in Live 9...that kick though...ugh...its just so darn ugly :/.

Hope you enjoy it! :D~

The house beat in the piano harmony is FANTASTIC. I really appreciate good house.

I probably know close to nothing in regard to house music but I simply enjoyed this track, and quite a lot. Good job :)

Cheers man! :), glad you enjoyed it~
