I like that it's not long, there is only one complete idea and there is no point in dragging it, but I still believe that while it's not that repetitive, it could still be more concise.
In any case, from what I can gather ( *note, I just read your description now after writing this so what I'm about to say is validated apparently) this is just a short essay, and if the purpose was experimentation or sharpening of certain skills, I believe it reached its purpose for you.
The harmonies are simple, but they don't lack in efficiency.
And I really dig the atmospheric touches, the slight delay here and there, the occasional phase etc, and it really drags you into a mood, but I feel that at 1:30 its purpose has been fulfilled, as a track, and there's no need for an additional 30 seconds.
It's a great starting point for something potentially bigger. This certainly made me curios about what other stuff you do, lol.
All in all, yeah, it's one hour well spent!
Nice, ambient, and simple piece. It's good for what it does. The fluctuations in tones keep it from feeling too repetitive, and the melody in general is just very relaxing. Great work
I really enjoyed listening to this. Depending on what it would be used I'd probably either add a little rhythmic section or a second synth to compliment it at some point, to keep things alive. If it's meant as mellow to be put in the background then I think it's perfect.
It's simple, but I liked it. The electronic flaring seems to happen at just the right time, and the song knows just how to end.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
