Nice work!

Hy there Maestro!

I've found your segment-account and I must say these sons are showing great things to come... especially in this case.

I loved the beginning: great action score here, with the choir, strings, drums... simply great, loved it...

After that the drums droped and the strings went on - and the organ came in. Well I don't know... I don't like that organ sound. A know what ypur aiming - a church organ sound would blow this stuff up (in a good way) - but this organ is a bit powerlessly sounding for me...

Anyway: patience maestro, wait for the right moment of inspiration and this song will be finished. I'll wait up.

P.S.: I've got a new submission and I suffered a lot with it - like you with this one. Pls drop a rev when you visit my site. "For King and Country" is the song.

Good, solid work.

It's not exactly subtle, a little bombastic for my taste, but you deserve a kudos for the energy and structured chaos you bring across.

Still, though it may just be personal taste, I think you could look into a bit more variation. You'd be surprised how effective a quiet interlude will be, it will amplify the overall suspense and make it much more colorful.

So in short, you have a really good insight in techniques and moods, but to make a really epic piece I think it lacks diversity a bit.

Great job though and congrats on 3rd place! Keep it up!

MaestroSegments responds:

the final piece has a interlude which does exactly what you were thinking about. This song's been pissing me off though, it just never seems to want to finish. I don't want to rush it, but I also don't want to slave away at it while other pieces could be made.

Thanks for the congrats and the review WinTang, much appreciated.

Simply amazing!

Great work, great work. Your music is awesome man!

About this song, i can't think of anything that i didn't enjoy... lol.

I loved the part with the fast violins and then i loved even more the part with the organ, reminded me of "Final battle against Kefka" final fantasy 6. That demonic laughter was a very nice touch too.

Again, amazing work. After i review all contest entries i'm coming back to listen to more of your songs. 5/5

MaestroSegments responds:

Awesome, thanks man, i'm glad you enjoyed it. A lot of people said take out that organ at the end, and I almost did it. But knowing that SOMEBODY liked it, I've decided to keep it.

Thank you for the review, it was a needed push. ^^.

Indeed. Chaotic at the start but that's how it should be. ^^

I liked the feeling there and of course the demonic laughter. >:D

Cool piece dude! 5up!

MaestroSegments responds:

Awesome, glad you liked it :D.

The newer version is much better mastered, and extended... but it's making me so GOD DAMN ANGRY CUZ IT DOESN'T WANT TO FINISH >:(.

But soon enough I hope, thank you for the review ^^.

Very powerful!

I cannot believe I going to be the first one to use one of your songs in a flash animation. I'm honored to do so, my good sir.

MaestroSegments responds:

I'm quite honoured you'd honour me by using a song for a flash ;).

Thanks for the review ^^
