Electronic - Video Game

Author Comments

This is one of many pieces I composed while working on the mobile trading card game Star Admiral by Hardscore Games. This was an attempt that didn't make it into the game (and also wasn't fully polished as I instantly focused on one of the more fitting concepts).

This is one of the more experimental pieces I came up with while working on Star Admiral. Most of the music in the final game is mainly orchestral in nature and focuses on the combat and militaristic aspect. This was an attempt at a piece with slightly heavier use of synthetic sounds and that focuses more on the space scenario and technology with a rather calm atmosphere and that somewhat captures the tragic aspect of warfare. The whole thing turned out a bit too sad and mellow for the game, though.

I'm providing it here so it won't necessarily go to waste.

No idea how this has been around so long with so few plays. Really great job, I am going to use it in one of my school CS projects! (A small space game.) Cheers!

Nice piece. You do an excellent job blending the orchestral elements with the electronic synths. I like the change of pace at 2:26. I can easily imagine this music for a space context, it kinda screams it ;)
