So a while ago, I challenged myself to write three songs that all faded into each other. I finished this not too long ago and decided to upload it here. Since I don't know of a way to upload each song separately, I had to upload the whole dang thing onto newgrounds. Here's where each song transitions:

Song 1 (0:00 - 5:58)
Song 2 (5:58 - 10:09)
Song 3 (10:09 - 17:47)

If you would like to download each song separately for free, there's a link to my soundcloud on my profile. If you can't find it send me a message and I will get back to you asamfhp (as soon as mother fucking humanly possible)

So here's a little description of each song if you would like to read a little info on it while you listen...

Song 1 was fairly easy to write for me, it has a lot of the normal stuff I do. But as a collective song of all three parts, I wanted them all to have their own moods and feels throughout. I also really wanted it to be possible to listen to the whole thing start to finish and not find a spot where you are bored. That's another thing I did with each song is I made sure not to keep repeating parts and have a things drag on for too long. Each riff just goes to the next and flows like a story. Song 1 really shows off a lot of progressiveness that I like to do, progressiveness is a word right? Whatever. It goes from a rock sort of intro, to metal, into cleans, back to rock and stuff like that. It was a fun song to make for sure.

Song 2 seems to be a favorite for some people, I assume its the metal stuff. Writing for this went kinda slow, I basically just messed around with some heavy riffs for a while. Some of riffs just seem groovy to me, they get your head bobbing here and there. Funny thing about this song is I had no clue where it was going to go, I was just jamming around with the idea for awhile. One of my favorite parts of the album is in this song at 7:55. Someone called it an upbeat, triumphant part. Honestly to me it reminds me of music you would hear if you were voyaging into space or something, I love it. Funny thing about this part is I was going to keep doing heavy stuff for another couple minutes, and ended up deleting most of it and writing this part on the spot. Pretty interesting how a simple change can completely impact the overall structure and feel of a song. I like Song 2 a lot.

Song 3 was the hardest song to write hands down. Something that took me a while to do was incorporate different riffs from the first two songs into the third one. Some of the parts are a little hard to pick out on first listen, might take several listens before you can. I tried to make as subtle as possible, but still make them as sort of a tribute of the first two songs. I think it worked it quite nicely. Later on in the song there is a heavy part, which to me is some of the most difficult rhythm guitar I've ever done in a song. The song ends on a sort of guitar solo which I kind of did not really think much of it. I think its alright for what it is. I wish I could have ended it a little better, but it does its job.

Anyways thanks to whoever listens to this, especially the whole 17 some minutes of it. And to anyone that is a fan of my music and listens to pretty much anything I upload, thanks for listening. It means a lot to someone like me that writes music to see people enjoy it.

Thanks er'body! :D
