Ok, don't expect anything great, because you won't get something of that quality here.
I recently found an old midi-file, which had been created by me a couple of years ago. The file was called "Christmas Memories", and it had a very simple melody and chords with a bit of a Christmassy feel.
This triggered my memory, and I remembered that I promised to finish the song someday. Well, I'm not quite there yet, but I took the middle ground, since Christmas is already upon us.
I took some time to almost finish the song, and then I simply improvised the rest. I'm actually not that proud of this particular recording, but I only got one shot because of a horrible complaining neighbour.
I edited out the worst mistakes, but some places still sound kinda crappy. Also, I have no idea what happens to the sustain sound every now and then. Might be I simply couldn't manage the pedal that well today :/
Not only this, but the calm Christmas mood is suddenly turned way too dramatic, and it doesn't even sound that good :D
Also I should add that I'm not that good at improvising.
All this concidered, if your ears can take it, please enjoy!
-As you can hear, I only used my Yamaha Clavinova (CLP - 230) electronic piano, and Audacity to record it :p
