Reminds me of the music from the Terminator movies a little, seems like it could be a little heavier though.
I know what you mean by the Terminator music feeling.
Maybe with a little bit of mastering, I could improve the presence of the song, make it feel a bit heavier.
Thanks for dropping some feedback.
Amazing, hey can I use this for a youtube videos without getting a copyright strike?
Yes, no problem. Feel free to use the track.
Beginning was Moonlight S - everything else was unoriginal and felt uninspired / too soft.
Remember me soo far portal music games, that ambience of mystery, GOD! I love it
I'm glad you like the song man.
Yeah i can feel the courage! alright.
But it kinda fades a little with at minute 1:20 not sure if the addition of xylophone (is that a xylophone? anyway it sounds like one) was the right choice, because it sounds kinda cute, so the adrenaline has drops quite a bit, nevertheless it still sounds good, but the feel definitively changes, so while reading the tags i definitively see that pumping, and that tribal sound there, but then it ironically starts to become relaxing haha. All things said it seems tat what i didn't liked was quite enjoyable for IcySideStudios, i guess it all comes to tastes.
That is not my blog. Enrique Alcatena is an Argentinian comic artist, quite famous, and he is over 60 almost 70 years old, he could be my grandpa, there is no way i am him, i kinda wish i was, the guy has skills! i used you other song as background while reading his work, and you know how that went.
So the next one is United We Stand a christmas song? man i hate those there is like 2 i actually like in that note and currently i can only think of this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEmw5WXtkq4 A Christmas Fucking Miracle - by El-P and Killer Mike, talking about that, the album is a beast, and is a free downloadable, a rare sight because both El-P and Killer Mike are quite the heavy weight artist, now if only Otkast was back...
With the glass effect, I wanted the feel of the song at that moment to feel enigmatic, but also like I had reached a point in my life where I was starting to figure things out, that is why I used the staccatos too. That sound kind of captures the feeling of trying to solve a puzzle, like you have been trying to succeed at something half of your life and failed, but then suddenly, everything starts to make sense, and the things you are attempting start working and falling into place.
The art on Enrique Alcatena's blog is staggeringly good. He may be old, but his work will remain timeless and inspirational to all.
I'm not a fan of Christmas songs either. But this is something I started working on with a particular memento in mind.
Mighty Mike and EI-P, you can't beat a grimy christmas song that I heard on the 16th.. of December, remember? Doomroar sent ya the link of a song, that you could probably buy from any vendor. Maybe I will, maybe that will be my next adventure.
You may only use this piece for commercial purposes if your work is a web-based game or animation, otherwise you must make specific arrangements with the artist.
