Pokemon X and Y exceeded my expectations, quickly becoming my second favorite gen (Gold and Silver will always be my favorite). I liked a lot of the music in X and Y, but I was particularly fond of the friend theme. It’s weird, the melody feels nostalgic, yet it’s new. This may or may not be because it sounds like another incredibly nostalgic pokemon tune, which is also present in this arrangement. Anyways, the source material for this arrangement is fairly simple so I ended up doing quite a bit of melodic expansion and improvisation. Enjoy!

I love what you done, but I hated these boring parts of the game TBH.
Oh man, the inclusion of those pieces really hit me in the feels. Makes it incredibly nostalgic for me. The song itself is very serene, and even the little pieces weren't included, it would still seem nostalgic. Overall, gives me a happy feeling. Maybe even a tad bittersweet.
Dude, or Dudette I love the inclusion of those extra pieces in this charming song. You did a wonderful job stirring up the feels. I hope this piece gets more recognition soon. It deserves it.
