It’s finally done. This is a jazz cue for a short film.
This is the reprise version for the ending of the film.
This song also accompanies a massive score I did for this film. I tried to recreate something that is similar to popular jazz music you would hear from 1940s noir films.
Interestingly enough, the lyrics and form of the song had much to do with the concept of the film and the actual timing of the picture itself. In this case I partially wrote it as a song-underscore.
I had a great opportunity working with very talented musicians throughout the whole process and made some great new friends along the way as well.
