Apocalyptic Paradise

Ok, the reason I wrote this song over a year ago was mainly as a joke to poke fun at the whole December 21st, 2012 apocalypse thing. It was for my old band that I was in (that I recently left) and we loved the idea of releasing a song right on the supposed last day of the Earth. It also happened to be on the same day as our 2 year band anniversary so we figured why the fuck not?

Now, the way it usually worked was I would write the whole song. Drum parts, bass, guitar and all. Then I would also record the three myself, and then I would record our vocalist for his parts. But recently since we're no longer a band, I only had the instrumental on me and I wanted to share it with you guys on NG, so I just recorded my own vocals on the song and called it a day.

I'm not a death metal vocalist by any means and I'm not very practiced at all. I just wanted to have something on the track. I'm a singer and usually record songs that have singing instead of screaming, so don't judge me too harshly haha. Thanks for listening! Leave me a comment, Rate, Favorite, whatever!

this shit fucking slams dude this is epic you rock this is full of party time and excellence

That was pretty metal to me. For not being a metal vocalist the screaming was good.

\m/ sounds metal enough for me XD

Sweet song dude! A lot of it reminds me of The Black Dahlia Murder in terms of guitar work. Pretty solid vocal work for someone with little screaming experience too.

Pretty good actually, did great on everything.
