Gotta love Mystic Quest. Maybe not truly representative of the main Final Fantasy series, but a good intro into the genre.

Recently compiled, this is my take/remix/re-master on a music track originally created by Ryuji Sasai & Yasuhiro Kawakami for the Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Game (1991)
As with any re-master I do, I tweak/adjust the track to suit my personal interests. I play by ear when sequencing these tracks. On another note, that crazy synth line was a pain to figure out...
This track is used at the Hill of Fate. I believe it is the only time in the game it is used...?

I always thought of it as Final Fantasy on training wheels, although in some ways you have to be more careful because you are either by yourself, or have one ally to help you. That makes status changers like Poison, Stone, Confusion, etc. a lot more dangerous.
