Horrors, crawling across my hull, lurking in the inky black lies a fate so grim that it shakes me to my core, I shift my glance and avert my eyes.. I shouldn't worry about the sounds.. No, it's foolish.. I sigh dejectedly, sit up, and walk over to the wall console. The lights gently hum to life as I pass my hand over the switch, the ship looks so warm and inviting when the lights come on, oh how I love it, and look, not a creature in sight, only my imagination toying with me.

Wait, that's not right.. The console beeps impatiently and my view is stolen by the blackness once again, a skittering, a screech, movement all around as claws arrest my movement from me, the impossible darkness reaching, kicking and hissing, something now lives aboard my ship and how I dare not confront it, as it slithers back into the vents the lights flickers back to life; revealing the once more empty room.

I've run a thousand tests, and those tests have scanned over a thousand halls, not a sign of organic life to be found, but strange energy signatures keep popping up, and I cannot put my mind at ease, and it always lives just out of sight.. what is aboard my ship..?
