I hope you enjoy, and I love to know what you think!
This is the fourth, and final track of my Weathered EP (Alongside everCloud, rainState, and one unreleased track).
Don't expect much from the mix; once I start producing brand new things again I think it will improve.

Well. Been in a bit of a rut musically, lately. School's really busy and leaves me with little time for other things I enjoy. Trying to get back in to making things again, but decided to start by finishing off the 2 DnB projects I've had hanging around forever. This one was started almost half a year ago now (blugh), and the other is scarily close to a year old (BLUGH).

Yeah I agree, there is too much drums and not a lot of melody and music, and I can barely hear the synths

Great sound and chill! I love that ;) but there is too many drums for me. If u do a pause and leave only piano and synths somewhere it will be greatest sound ever ;) Will Download ;)

Alloud responds:

Interesting. I thought about having a breakdown, but I wasn't sure how to approach it without having the same structure as all of my other songs. I'll try and get breakdowns in future tracks, because I do like them too, I just don't want them to be stale.

Cheers. o:

I like very little DnB, but I really like this.

Probably has to do with the melody since DnB generally has deep, murky tones that make me think of cold outer space or melancholy. But this is, as you said, uplifting - and I dig it. The staple dnb rhythmic intensity is there but somewhat subdued by the mellow and cheery synth; not sure if that was intentional but I enjoy the twist. The ebbing bass is a definite strong point as well.

A different but not completely opposite direction from Karmafield. Fav'd and downloaded!

Alloud responds:

It was intentional. One could say it's my style. d:

Thank you for the review, and I'm glad you liked it. :3

Just yes.
What, people are too used to me giving long explanations?

Well OK! The beat is solid and very nice, providing a typical Alloud beat with a nice punch to it. Maybe could change a little bit more throughout, even though I appreciate flourishes and cymbal breakdowns.

The leads (both pure electronic and synthesised instruments) are nice, providing a moody, positive melody that perfects the atmospheric spin on DnB.
This song may even be my new Study Anthem, formerly Pendulum's The Island (mainly part 1).

And yes, this review is long, but I'm in a better mood than usual, so I type fast and without realising where I'm going.
Anyway, nice track, and keep it up!

Alloud responds:

I hear you on the beat. I usually mix things up, but that wasn't what I wanted on this one. d: My next track has more variance in the patterns.

Cheers for the review, and I'm glad you enjoyed!
