man, what is this song? it's so awesome!
Happy Halloween, everyone!
I haven't posted too much on here this year, but I haven't forgotten about you guys! Here's something chilling from me, to get into the Halloween spirit: an arrangement of Castlevania: Bloodline's Leaning Tower of Pisa track. The source itself was unsettling as hell (and thus one I've wanted to arrange for years), so when Chernabogue announced that he was directing Vampire Variations Vol. II (and included Bloodlines in the line-up) I leaped at the chance to arrange this bad boy.
If you're familiar with the Bloodlines OST you'll remember this source, as it's really unique in the Castlevania soundtrack as being just... terrifying, especially in context. If not, go give the source a listen (The Discolored Wall) - it's worth listening to in it's own right, just because of how unique it is.
Anyway, enough gabbing from me - give this track a listen, and if you love Castlevania music go check out Chernabogue's "Vampire Variations" albums - there's a lot of great music in both, covering music from the original game, as well as from Rondo of Blood and Bloodlines.

Out of the blue, a Discolored Wall arrangement from the Sega Genesis Castlevania appears!
Can't believe it's been nearly ten years since I made this. Glad you liked it!
Damn, how did this ever get a score as low as 3.64?!?! That’s crazy! This should be at least a 4.8.
Can't control whether your music gets listens on the site, outside of luck or score manipulation (voting for your own track regularly to increase the score & visibility). Never seemed important enough to bother with.
Glad you like it, though!
Man, this is awesome. I listened to your Deus Ex Coffee Break while looking for remixes and loved how well you preserved the original feel of the song. You did the same here and it's great. What work have you been doing lately?
Musically I've done quite a few competition tracks on Overclocked Remix, lately. The latest batch of remixes, in fact, is quite good, so I'll likely share them on this site, like I've done with tracks in the past. Thanks for listening :)
I love the entire 1:30 intro it's really ambient. I could really do without the dissonance, but hey that's your style. Everything after 1:30 sounds really good. Keep this up. All though it does say it's chiptune, doesn't really song like chiptune, just digital but's a good sound nevertheless.
Oh man, just listen to the source - the dissonance is absolutely crazy in it. It really was a tough source to mix because of it.
Chiptune... well, it does use them, like most of my music (the rectangle waves are pure, just like the NES), it's just not an 8-bit arrangement, is all.
Thanks for the love, though! :D
bro i realy love castlevania and u make my day with this song,i realy like it....have a nice day please
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
