An entertaining piece. There is lots of variation crammed up in just the 1:50 minutes.
I would actually love to listen to the full-fledged version!
trying to create and release new songs at a faster pace. approx 7 hours on this one.

It's a nice sounding song, but I guess I don't understand why it's a piano solo. Seems like a good rough draft of something that's not finished yet. I see that you are trying to quicken the rate of your production, but I think this one would be better suited with some orchestration (which could give more color and variety to all the pentatonic stuff) or as an old school 8-bit style. (And don't get me wrong, I love piano -- I am a pianist myself, but to me, this sounds like a good draft, just waiting to be brought alive by being orchestrated or NESified.) It's hard to put a finger on exactly what makes a song sound like it should be a piano solo, but this doesn't really strike me as one. It sounds like someone playing a piano arrangement of a video game song, rather than it being a song intended for piano. Hope that makes sense. :)
Funny you mention that; I had intended to use more orchestral elements, but I simply got caught up with just the piano. Sounded too good :P
Although I normally don't like piano-only songs, for this one I really changed my mind. It sounds like a mix of Mortal Kombat and Final fantasy on a piano. Really good job, keep it up.
Right, what I think
firstly 7 hours - what? god darn you, takes me about a week to do one track
oh you've got me with this track - just what I love, sometimes do tracks like this myself
Not sure if it'd be more fit in the solo instrument genre rather than vg but I do get how this is a vg piece. Reminds me of a piano collections arrangement of an RPG track. I think it would have been better if you made it loopable so it could be used in battle flashes and stuff easily.
It fits a battle where there isn't too much a threat haha like lower level monsters and shizz
Piano sounded beautiful and well produced. I think the high solo-esque parts on the right hand this track could of done without -or at least most of them, although they sounded good they left the song without an overarching melody. I did love the melody that plays on the first few bars of the main sections and I feel there should have been more of that and more repetition to make it feel less cluttered
That transition at 1:06 didn't work at all for me sorry, maybe you could leave out the right hand on that bit and had a slight build in the chords. It just sounded forced or just not quite right
anyways, this was a good song all in all and fit exactly what it's meant to I felt
Not a bad song, and as my first song i have listened to from you its quite good. I though don't see it as a battle song but more of a cut-scene transitional song into the battle. Though 7 hours seems quick to me, i have to say that its always quality over quantity so don't get too fast or you might suffer in quality.
Yeah no doubt, I follow the same philosophy. This just sort of flowed and I didn't want to continue working on it for fear of forgetting about it in some long lost folder.
