This song is dedicated to my friend Back-From-Purgatory, inspired by her guitar improvisation and her unique eyes which is where the title was inspired from, so in a way it's about the way she sees things and the colors in her eyes. Arc as in the mathematical term for circumference of a circle (such as the shape of the iris in an eye) and spectrum because of her physical eyes having their interesting colors as well as her colorful mind. She has been a great influence to my music and my life. Thank you Purgy.

Nope no help or i would have credited her but thank you :) it was just inspired by her.
It's kind of creepy, but this song pretty much exactly matches my imagery of Purgy. And I say it's creepy because I barely know her, but from what I read of her news/forum posts and reviews I somehow *think* I have a pretty good idea of what she is -- kind of cool, mysterious, indifferent, sometimes aloof, but packed with talent and ideas underneath all that.
And if that's anywhere close to the truth, then it's marvelously captured by this song. It has a really chill-ish sound and some very intriguing chords. And while it mostly stays in the same range and doesn't really have a climax, I find that it's quite emotional in a subtle way.
So... either I have to applaud you for expressing something so well and in such a deep and profound way, or pat myself on the back for having a fantastic imagination. Or both!
Wow :) well that's nearly spot on! I wanted to capture the essence of her personality and her mind, i guess i did ok :). Thanks! She really is an inspirational, complex, intelligent, talented, and what i would consider to be a great friend.
I liked it, was a bit more chill than I thought but it worked great for what it is.
Back-From-Purgatory really is awesome :)
thanks, and yes she is.
