Why did you have to add the synth? It really takes away from the grunge and turns it in to something that completely perverts the genre. This song would have been stronger without the choice of synth you made. Definitely add vocals and re upload this song.

So I originally wrote this song with vocals in mind, in fact it should of been 2 separate songs, but for some reason I decided to mix the 2 songs together and put synths in the place of vocals. Any way, I hope you enjoy. I promise I'll submit some better quality stuff in the future.

Thanks for the review. I agree, I think this song would be a lot better with vocals but I should have mentioned the reason I used synths is because my singing voice is very average. I don't have the tone or vocal range to sing this song the way i'd like it to be sung and I don't know any good singers i can work with yet... i'm looking.. in fact trying to start a band.. but that's a whole other thing. Think of this as a sort of demo track. Also I will admit the synths do take away from the grunge a fair bit but I did want the song to be a bit weird in some ways like with the synth pedal effect on the lead guitar in the solo, so it's not your traditional sort of grunge in that sense. I really would love to re-upload this song with vocals... hopefully someday.
