Reminds me a lot of a 8 bit genre, something out of the box so good job on that! 4/5! :D
O hey, I did do more stuff with SunVox!
This was in fact put together with the tracker SunVox, but I also included some samples of sounds created with Mathematica. It started out with the somewhat irregular pattern that begins the piece, but then joined up with my quest to create the ultimate drone. While I feel the final result is very far from being the ultimate drone, I think it turned out quite well.
See how many different parts you can pick out!
One of the tactics I used in this piece was using key changes sparingly: the key changes are placed with the intention of making relatively simple jumps in pitch hit as hard as possible.
Also, the rhythms in the high-pitched beeping that shows up partway through the song were taken directly from the Thue-Morse sequence, a mathematical sequence that just happens to produce an interesting rhythm.
Constructive criticism (or praise, or questions, or weird idioms from other languages, whatever) would be appreciated. Make sure to check out my other music!
