I had my hand at making this before, but it was when I was first starting out; I had a lot to learn at that point.
I felt like this needed more attention than I had previously given it.
With that said, I felt like taking a different approach with this. Up until now, I never fully realized just how primitive the Game Gear's (or Master System's) sound chip was, and that it was only capable of producing square and noise waves. That opened a lot of doors for this mix, and I was able to interpret it a bit more loosely. So I turned it into a club remix. And yeah, it's short, but the original song is short, so I didn't want to ruin that. My goal with remixes, ultimately, is to preserve what makes the original song good and memorable while adding a bit of personal flair, and I think I pulled it off really well, in this case.
I really hope you guys enjoy this one. I feel really good about it, and I hope you do, too.
As always, drop some comments if you feel so obliged, and please, enjoy.
