Song Apex Of The universe from the album A.M.D Dimensional Distortion released in 2010.
All songs will be uploaded in the coming days.

My brother Dan Johansen created the awesome and epic solos for this behemoth of a track. (6:35-7:23)

Mortal Philosophies-Apex of the universe
Before listening to this song, go over to my other track Mortal Philosophies to read up on the story because the description here would have exceeded the length allowed.

Ground pounding quakes of destructive war machines
Closing in on the Capital Kerroch the seat of the emperor
Holding place for the core and origin of pain
Flesh creatures in mortal conflict
All form of life depends on this war

Earthlings lead the bloody assault on the mighty enemy Groz
War torn plains covered in the thickest red and blue
Mechanical giants, shake the ground
Imploding bombs and laser turrets split the air

One goal in mind, one enemy in sight, they commit their lives to this fight

Terminating life a devastating sight
Life means nothing in war
Crushing bones under the might of technology
Life and hope paid for with death, blood and destruction

Walls crumble leaving behind the rubble
Dust rising to the skies as the city burns
Racing through these streets chased by airborne foes
Supported by the Eldrin forces we survive
Breaking through all defences

We can see the palace

One goal in mind, one enemy in sight, they commit their lives to this fight

Terminating life a devastating sight
Life means nothing in war

As we close in on target the ground shakes
A massive war machine emerges from the depths
Eldrin diversion, as we break through!

Crushing bones under the might of technology
Life and hope paid for with death, blood and destruction

Adrenalin rush, my small elite force blast through
Blood pumping, a trail of death as we ascend

Friends cover my approach towards the final stand
Massive metal door in front of me the time has come

I enter to end this brutal conflict, but what awaited me I cannot explain.

Welcome Jason Masinger, I have been expecting you… …
Call me, Alius Mundus Deus
There is no throne, no emperor.
Now face to face with a mechanical being
Not Groz or Eldrin but another… …

You want this? I know it is what you have been searching

Core fragment lay in front of me but as I reach for it, it is crushed
NOW sadness combined with anger washes over me as a laughter echoes through the room

Muahahahaha! You cannot kill me, I am not even here!

My body shakes as hatred and despair arise
Killer instinct of vengeance action speaks louder than words
I blast the being to metal dust.

Outside the battle is over, a joyful cheer fills the once war filled streets
But only sorrow fills our human hearts as we know we failed us all.
The Eldrin find an answer, the one we feared most
We must destroy the earth with a psycho bomb.

very good but the volcals kinda threw it off a bit at the beginning other that that
amazzing! \m/(x.x)\m/

I could imagine this as a rock opera. The visual lyrics could be played dramatically while upholding a constant feel of attack. i would love to see someone do an animated adaption straight from this song. I would totally watch that.

TheDoomrider responds:

That would be awesome to watch!

Fucking badass power metal track, would crush my enemies to, 10/10

TheDoomrider responds:

YEAH thanx man! We will crush our enemies and see them driven to extinction MUAHAHAHAH!

Wow, this is my longest metal album in my playlist. Masterpiece.

TheDoomrider responds:

Thanx man HELLYEAH!!

This is pretty impressive work, man. I can only really criticize a few things, because the instrumental is pretty solid. Digging the Finnish style keyboard solo (hope you get my joke on the Finns).

Your lyrical delivery is making me wince at times. I understand that you're telling a story and that lyrics can sound pretty shitty and unromantic when you do this (I know, because I have written songs that go that route), but in the first half of the song you seem to be trying really hard to cram in some of those lyrics and sing them out. This might just be a product of your writing not working out in the end, but it sounds forced, man. Most of the song has good delivery, but just work on that.

The only other thing is that your vocals are mixed a tad loud.

Yeah. That's seriously all I have to complain about, because it's a pretty good song.

TheDoomrider responds:

The song is exactly how I wanted it to be, I wouldn't change anything and I am glad you enjoyed it, HELLYEAH!!!
