A World to Explore (8-bit)

You start your quest in a land that should be familiar to you but it is not. Everything is unknown to you. A man spoke of a cave to the East. You stock up on items and equipment. Now you are ready to explore!
This is the Overworld Theme for an NES Dragon Warrior styled game I am making.

Yes I know that 8-bit games are overdone, but it is a solo, maybe duo project I am working on, and I have plenty of ideas to still make the game unique.

I am limiting how many instruments are playing at once in these songs as for all of them only 4 instruments will ever be playing at once. I want the feel of these songs to be as genuine as possible, and NES songs only ever had 4 instruments playing at once.

And I am sorry, but I don't plan on making it a flash game, so don't expect it on the Portal, however... All music from the game is going to be uploaded here on Newgrounds!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this Overworld theme. I know it is a rather small loop, however so was Dragon Warrior's Overworld Theme, and on a funny side note.. I later decided to compare this to other overworld themes after writing it, and found a remarkable similarity between my melody line used here and Dragon Warrior's Melody Line. Enjoy!

Also, as a new rule... all of these songs are subject to change based on your reviews.. if you don't like it, let me know. Give me valid reasons, and I will take it into consideration. If the song fits the feel I want it to be, I see no reason to change it. But I always love to hear your opinions.

This is beautiful. Every note of this song is exactly right and the loop is flawless. I have an Idea for a game (That hopefully I can submit here before Stencyl Jam 2015s deadline is up) and I think this song would be great for its title. May I use this song?
Ps. I would also like to use another song of yours in that same game, the song titled A Small Town.
If you have any questions PM me.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Absolutely, just credit the song to me and send me a link to the finished project!!! :)

Now THIS I am liking :-)

It has a nice sound about it. The bass synth is probably by favorite part of it :-)

I have to say I am very impressed. This is a short loop, but it doesn't feel like it. It is a good testament to your creativity as a musician.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks for listening cRAVE. I am glad you liked it. And thanks for the compliments!

I really love this track, it has an amazingly epic feeling seizing it.

The amazing fact that even though it's only 16 seconds long, it keeps you interested and entertained. As the person under me said, the subtle rhythms give so much in this piece, and the main rhythm and bass are greatly executed as well.

Damn, it's hard to find flaws in a perfect piece, and what does that help a musician? xD

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

well it helps by boosting their self-esteem! :P
Glad you liked the song Pal!

I dig the subtle changes... Totally asking to be placed in a video game.
