Here's the single from my album coming August 26th, "The Box Vol. 1: Dark City". This is the single from the album which features my friend Zach Holsclaw on screams and my singing. It's full title is: "Dark City (Chapter 1 feat. Heart Attack Zach). I'm still adjusting it for the release, tell me if I need to change anything, enjoy!

Well I've already had a listen to this track and all your others in Vol. 1 since I bought it and had a good listen to them.

The thing I have noticed about this track (in the full release) is that it sounds rather flat mastering-wise compared to some of your other excellent work like 'The Box (Chapter 9)' and 'When Ashes Fade (Chapter 5)' which sound generally sharper/clearer. Don't let that get you down though, Dark City is still in my opinion got one of/if not the best Introduction on the album and the best Vocal-work both Clean and Non-Clean.

I really need to write up a full review for the whole album one day and put it on some album review sites like Sputnik and so :)

As much as I prefer the original, purely instrumental version, this is still definitely great. The biggest issue I had with the vocals is that they don't seem loud enough (especially the parts in which you sang. The lyrics were a little hard to identify, at least for me), and the screaming seemed to clash with the melody in the beginning somewhat.

RealFaction responds:

really? thanks, i'll fine tune that :)

Woh ! Impressive. I always put a song from NG as background while I'm doing something. And I have to say. I didn't realise for something like 2mins that I was still listening a NG song.
I was thinking : "Great ! What's this band's name ? What ? It was RealFaction ? =O"

I'm not good at exlpaining thing but.. This song may come from a famous metal artist that it wouldn't surprise me.

RealFaction responds:

Aww! Thank you! :D thats really nice of you to say! If you like this, stay posted, in a day or two im posting a trailer to my new album releasing on my bandcamp Monday! It has this track and many more :)
