This is the longest song I've made. It's very high energy so be sure not to listen if you're trying to relax.

I hadn't made a song in a while and after going through a number of attempts at creating a new one, once this started to take form I named the file "Potential" to remind me that it was the one in the group that showed potential. After finishing it, I let the name stay.

Hope you enjoy!

Thank you very much! Don't worry. Due to the nature of the reviews, I didn't really take them to heart. Can't respect reviews that focus on one element that had nothing to do with the song I was trying to create. Thanks again! :)

Hello man some advice for ya, you need to beef up that kickdrum its lacking iin punch and drive and the other synths are drowning it out, the kickdrum should be the loudest instrument in your mixer, the synths are also lacking in EQ to give them shine and personality, also there is no real structure in your track but keep at it as it will all come to you with time and advice :)

cobra0528 responds:

As I said to the previous review, not only was the bass not my focus for this song, but it was maxed out. None of the others were even close to maxed out. I just needed the bass for depth. These reviews are not helpful. I'm fine with criticism, but not when it doesn't help. Thank you for the review nonetheless.

EDIT: I just read through your other reviews and you gave 3 perfectly good songs aside from mine 2-star ratings, based solely on EQ and bass, and went to both extremes when there was no major issue with any of them. 2-star ratings and below should be reserved only for very unenjoyable songs. No respect.

Some solid advice, don't use default drum kits. It sounds like one of FL studio's defaults. People will think of you as amateur and look down upon you because you're using defaults. Make yourself stand out by breaking from the group that uses just what the software gives them originally.

Your drum kit is way too quiet. Get some more bass in there and bump up the volume of the kit.

Look up how to sidechain, it will make your music sound a lot better and pump more.

If you need any help, drop me a PM. I've used FL for the past 3+ years and know how to work my way around it.

cobra0528 responds:

It was the default, but I tweaked it quite a bit. It had the exact bass sound I wanted for this song. I pumped up the volume all the way, but it still wasn't enough. On top of that, it was substantially louder before I exported. I am an amateur, but I have also been working with the program for over 3 years. Thanks for the review, but you focused way too heavily on the bass. The bass wasn't my focus for this song. I just needed it to add some depth underneath the song.
