Temples of the desert

Thats a large desert...

You definately got the title right thats for sure..I like the flute (or whatever variatoin of a flute that is) part. It beautifully desert-like. I like the cymbal and orchestra parts that come in as well. Every part I would say is well done. The only critisism I could give is that middle part with the repeating cymbal crashes gets kind of repetitive (other then the flute part which the focus is mostly on).

So you wanted me to try a story:

I see a small band of egyptians on camel back just looking out into the desert at the start of the song. They see fortune, mystery, and wonderment in the sea of sand, and head out. (as the other instruments kick in) the harshness of the desert begins to get to them, but they ride on with as much hope and moral as they had started with, for they are sure that something will be found. (That cymbal part comes in) A temple right in the middle of the desert comes to sight, and through the fog of sand they can make out it's majesty. Now excited, they enter the temple (it is day) to see the entire thing of a white sandstone color which was craftingly smoothed. They see a beatiful alter in the back. Laced with gold trim and red silk overhanging it, it is one of the greatest things they have seen.

This is where my story stops. Sorry, but with the song I can't quite figure out what is within the alter/what it does. (5/5) well done, I hope the hear more desert/egyptian pieces (as well as come out with a few) because quite frankly I love the style of them.

Deflektor responds:

I'm glad you took a bit of your time to try writing something on my stuff. And i have to say i'm pretty delighted by that story; well written, well described, also, you indicate part of the song that match your story, so i got a fully clear idea of the scene.

As for the Egypt/desert pieces, i don't have much to suggest. My stuff is mainly slightly oriental and asian.

So, yeah, i'm very glad you reviewed me! Thanks!

Very cool.

I'm surprised I haven't heard this one yet. This one really does sound like a epic theme from a RPG. It reminds me of "The Legend of the Dragoon" very nice.

Deflektor responds:

Never played that one. Yet, i'm a fan of RPG. Have some time to catch ^_^!

Fun and driving

Hey deflektor, I enjoyed this. I don't have much to say, the ending was abrupt, but didn't bother me that much really. I was able to imagine a party taking on a quest of some sort and the quick skim through their journey then the sudden end being them encountering a "holy crap" moment.

Good job.

Deflektor responds:

Thanks, man.Seems i inspire some kind of video game scenes, huh?LOL!Thanks for the reviews.

pretty good :)

I can imagine a good video game scene here. Sounds a bit like zelda. I like it, maybe include a bridge or a little segment that breaks away from the main progression. It's really good, so I can't say much. Keep it up.

Deflektor responds:

Very, VERY nicely done

I really liked this song. It sounded very nice, but the ending was reallyyy sketchy and sudden. Reminded me of Final Fantasy

Deflektor responds:

Yeah,i know for the ending.All my endings are a bit bodged,lol!But,Final Fantasy?!Wow,i didn't know!Thanks for the review,pal!
