It's been a while since I've uploaded anything, but I've been busy with contests and things, including this one!

This is my submission to RealFaction's Art Inspired Music contest. This was inspired by keepwalking's Nice To Meet You! I won't post a link, since it'll mess up, but the art's in my favorites. Check out his stuff if you haven't, it's FANTASTIC.

I procrastinated a ton so this track was a little rushed, but I'm happy with the result.

WOW. Just wow. Just wanted to let you know. Unfortuately I don't have enough time to leave a proper review because I need to get through entries, but I couldn't just pass this one without letting you know how much I loved it! <3

AetherX responds:

Thanks so much, that means a lot!

Definitely fits the picture, it gives that unfamiliar meeting vibe, it really brings the picture to life. It paints a picture in my mind of the robot and girl meeting for the first time and going on many adventures together. My only complaint here is the volume is a bit quiet and some parts seem like the bass kicks are too sudden by a hair. Other than that, great job here, your placement of strings and how you wrote this piece is really something, a nice blend of classic and electronic elements.

AetherX responds:

I'm glad you liked it! It is a little quiet, isn't it? I've been working on my mastering, and this whole no-limiter-on-the-master-bus thing is taking some getting used to. Thanks for putting this contest together, I had a lot of fun!

Nice! I like the whole drive behind the melody. My only suggestion would be MOAR BASS, but that's just the bass-head in me talking. :P It's light, keeps a good flow, and keeps changing, which is good.

Mind checking out my submission to the contest? Good luck!

AetherX responds:

I agree. I tried to make a bass sound that fit but I just couldn't do it in time, so I had to make do with more or less no bass instrument. I've got a couple songs to review, so I'll totally add you to the list. I'll try to get around to that before long. Thanks!
