A Hero's Journey Never Ends

Four years ago, on this very day, I signed up for Newgrounds to post my music. Now the time has come for me to post this: my final song. When I set out to make an album inspired by Homer's Odyssey, I was simultaneously chronicling my own odyssey. My journey took me from being a student and amateur composer, who lived in a studio apartment with one window facing a brick wall, to where I am today.

Although I've decided to give it up, my ability to improvise and compose has grown significantly over the last few years. And along the way I received some excellent feedback and encouragement from the Newgrounds community (including a few zero-bombers). So this song is for you and me both. Let it be a reminder that our journeys are never over. Newgrounds will continue to be a place to foster talent and shenanigans. As for me, I may be finished making music, but I am on a new path now, and there is much for me to do.

This song is so good. I cant believe I actually found a song this good on newgrounds. It’s so good I used it in geometry dash.

I actuly criied a lil when i realised this was your last song. You made incredible music that ive listened to for the last few years. Its sad to see such talent leave NG.

Awesome song, i would give it 10 stars if i could and you should continue making music cause your really good at it

Lovely use of strings, Wonderful transitioning and the piano works nicely in this. This is one of the better songs that I have heard recently on NG. I honestly would have to say that you shouldn't give it up and keep it going here because its a great way of learning. Who knows your music may even inspire a whole new group of people to write. Keep on it my friend.
