Your Mudkip Has Evolved

This track is for the NGAP AIM contest where we had to pick works on art and make songs based on them. I decided to do a song version of Rucklo's "MUDKPIS!" drawing. Mudkpis is a beautiful work of art hand drawn using a program not many of you have probably heard of because it's really old. I was gonna try and write an entire song using that program but quickly realized this would have been an impossible feat seeing as how I don't have the massive brain power required to use it.

You wobbled me into a thin paste, then used a rolling pin to turn me into little flat pasty-cakes. I'm tired...

Quarl responds:

woah, I haven't seen that name in years. AdmiralConq is in the building...

Huh. Chipstep. I diglet. Get it?! :D

Man.. funny. Nice chooon. <3

This has potential but I feel like it is a tad too all over the place with a few notes from a couple elements, also it is extremely short. Has potential but needs work, doesn't really fit the image, as simplistic as the artwork is, but the mixing of this is good.

Quarl responds:

not even chipstep you silly sod! <3

Quarl responds:

I kind of hate chip tune music.

Haha, the intro reminded me like a old dial-up modem! You have here a short chipstep song. The mix is great, but I think it falls a bit short. If you had little time prior to the deadline, I understand! Good luck man!

Quarl responds:

I threw this together in a couple of hours. I could fix it up but given the priceless piece of fine art this song is based off of...

yeah fuck it.
