Would love the opportunity to use this in a short film. But unless you allow it in written consent, I'll stop with just saying it's an awesome piece.
Thank you for your compliment!
We could definitely discuss the shortfilm more thoroughly on PM before I give you my consent. I would like to hear what kind of a short film you're planning to use it on and see if I can adjust the score accordingly to suit it better!
Send me a PM whenever you can!
This is very well done. It creates a view of an epic final battle, such as a last stand. It is easy to picture a battlefield with two armies battling each other - which is what I am guessing you were trying to do. Also, at 0:45 to about 1:00, it sounds like you may have been influenced by the theme tunes of The Elder Scrolls, though I may well be mistaken.
Thanks! When I started working on it, my main idea was to make a track that was suitable for an epic battlefield scenario. I experimented a lot and I came up with many ideas as the song progressed, the result was that of a more heroic battlefield track with a small sense of fantasy and adventure.
The part that you referred to was actually inspired by a different track that I've been working on that has not been uploaded here yet, but I can see the similarities to "The Elder Scrolls" now that you've mentioned it! Thanks for your feedback!
this is well done, amazing balance, nothing over shadows, the instruments don't over power each other, the voice is perfect, it sounds as if you knew exactly what you wanted, the most important thing i can think of in cinematic songs, is to make sure that the song can set and image in their mind, that they can visualize the scene you are making, or that they can relate their own... great work!
I agree with you, it is important to make sure that the song can set and create an image in the audiences mind, it doesn't necessarily have to be mine as people have their own perspectives while listening to something like this. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
