Inspired by the art piece Equilibrium from clayscence :http://www.newgrounds.co m/art/view/clayscence/equ ilibrium

I tried with Contrast to express duality of emotions by creating tension and release. Not only through the harmony but also with the orchestration texture and by blending synths with the orchestra. Hope you enjoy.

This track is pretty standard when it comes to its genre, and as such it lacks in originality. It does fit the art paired with it somewhat, although I think it'd be nice if you had used a solo flute and a solo violin in it. Composition is pretty standard, so it doesn't get boring or outstay its welcome, yet I think you could have made it longer. Sound-wise, I think you can work on the mixing more. The sounds are muddy and there is clashing in the frequencies between the instruments.

PascalPalomino responds:

Thanks for this comment. I would have like to use a solo violin and a solo flute but I am a bit limited with what I have. I would have like also a vibraphone for the arpegiation in the background. I did have a lot of probleme making this piece and it's not my favorite but I really enjoyed doing it though. Thanks again and I will work on my mixing.

I really liked the beginning, and the piece overall. My main complaint is the fact it's short, but I liked how it was carried throughout. I also feel the mixing needs to stand out more, it feels too centered and not spread out enough. A beautiful piece, but I feel it could be worked on. It makes me think im entering an epic adventure tale inside a mansion or a castle. Good job.

PascalPalomino responds:

Thank you, just got my audio systeme recently. I am working on improving my mixing.

Great sounds. I like how all the instruments blend so well into one sound. It sometimes sounds like a crystal glass ringing. So beautiful. Fits the artwork well. I can see the two girls playing this together, supported by a fullblown orchestra.

PascalPalomino responds:

Thank you for the comments. I listened to your stuff and you have very cool pieces to. Thanks again.

Very cool piece, I really liked that build up to 1:00. That was a really strong moment.

My only critique is that I think it could have used a little more in the bass frequencies. That could add a lot of power to the piece.

And some really cool harmonies, man! I really enjoyed it.

PascalPalomino responds:

Thanks a lot mate!
