This started off as a challenge between a friend and I, to create a song that would suit a picture of a futuristic city within a 1 hour time limit. The picture included a highway with fast moving jet vehicles and that's the part that attracted my attention the most so I built the song around that idea. Starting off with the typical chord pad synth you hear in a lot of classic racing game soundtracks and slowly morphing into a faster pace with a harder beat.

After the challenge I decided to continue it but I had a lot of problems trying to extend it. Eventually I tried a whole bunch of different ideas that started to work their way into the bunch and before I knew it I had ambient, techno, jazz, dubstep, glitch etc. all worked into 1 track!

It's rather obscure but I think it turned out pretty well! I worked pretty hard to try and pull all these different styles together and I had a blast doing so! So I hope you enjoy it ^^

Try to picture a futuristic neon city where a high-speed jet street race is taking place. The drivers are reaching unbelievable speeds to the point where reality for them begins to shatter and the whole world around them is becoming distorted and static :D
