Sound: No issues at hand here.
Composition: While I have to say that ambient'ish tracks aren't my thing, this track is nicely written. It keeps interesting and has a decent dynamic to it.
Fit to Art: A fine pick of instruments that definitely convey the image well. The downward arps and pads help show the spectacular nature of the paired art and I think you did a wonderful interpretation of the art piece.
Originality: I'm not too familiar with the genre, but I wouldn't say that this piece is the most original either. Still, no points lost.
A beautiful interpretation of the artwork. I love the variation of the percussion as it progresses, really adds! This is definitely relaxing, the sub bass is comfort to my ears. I love the transitions between sounds that are additionally added. This captures the artwork extremely well. Very original and very well done! The progression in this track is impressive. Very colorful, great job.
I had a few mixing/mastering issues but the tracks still really good! Those falling delayed arps were relaxing as fuck. The rhythms were tasty as fuck. They almost had a live feel to it but I was too busy kind of being irked by the way they sounded. It think that drum kit could have punched through the mix a lot more. I'd have ditched the reverb on the kit. You don't want the element that's supposed to bring the rhythm together to accidentally muddy things up. When employed sparingly a little reverb on your drums here and there can create a lot of atmosphere. I'll tend to automate a rise in reverb on my drums towards the end of measures.
Sick track man! Don't take this as a negative review. Just throwing out my two cents. Love it!
Really good! I just think it could use a little more variability in the melody (I tend to tell this to people a lot. Just a personal preference).
Great job ;)
